Physiotherapy

Annerose Nistel has opened a physiotherapeutic clinic in the northern Albanian town of Krume - the only one in a huge area. Therefore the demand is high; only in two years, about 500 patients have received treatment. An amazing number for a very traditional and closed region, where everything new and foreign is met with a lot of scepticism. A big success.

 
SITUATION


Physiotherapy is still very much neglected in the Albanian health system. There are very few trained therapists or clinics. Therefore, we try to help as much as possible in this field. And our mobile care services, too, offer therapeutical training for patients at home.

PLANS

Intensification of the therapeutical care, especially by the home care services.
