1st of June is International Children’s Day – an important date in Albania. Usually it is the schools who offer programs and activities to make the children feel happy and special. This time, however, the NEHEMIA students in Buçimas became active themselves: Our 3rd graders prepared packages with food and clothes and delivered them personally to poor families and children in the area. In this way, they made this day special to those families, too.This is one of many ways to bring life to the NEHEMIA Vision: “To love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind and to learn to love our neighbours as ourselves”
