The work of Nehemia is financed almost exclusively by voluntary donations. The biggest part of the funds is put at our disposal by our founding organizations Nehemia in Germany and Switzerland.

Low administration costs

Contributions of our dedicated co-workers, responsible management of funds and continuous efforts to improve our administration keep the costs on a low level.

Further education and improvement

Nehemia's accountants receive a continuous education and counsel by qualified business and management specialists. The use of modern accounting software brings transparence and effectivity.

Annual audit

Every year the Nehemia books are audited by recognized auditors, the result being published in our annual reports.

Comment

Accounting and handling of finances have been rated highly by Albanian ministries and authorities, who advised other NGO's repeatedly to follow Nehemia's example.
